HOW TO RELOCATE TASKBAR TO TOP IN WINDOWS 11 !!

Welcome To Logistic tech 25

To move the taskbar to the top of the screen in Windows 11, you can use a registry tweak. Please note that editing the registry is risky and not recommended unless you know what you’re doing. It’s always a good idea to back up your PC and data before continuing 1.

Here are the steps to move the taskbar to the top of the screen in Windows 11:

  1. Open Registry Editor by typing “regedit” into the Run menu (Windows + R) or searching for “regedit” 2.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3 2.
  3. Open the Settings key for Editing by double-clicking it 2.
  4. Change the fifth value in the second row from “03” to “01.” You can do this by deleting the 03 and then typing 01. Click Ok 2.
  5. If you are using multiple monitors and want the taskbars on those screens to also be on top, you should change the same values to 01 for all registry keys in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MMStuckRects3 folder. If you don’t have multiple monitors, this folder won’t exist 2.
  6. Close Registry Editor 2.
  7. Launch Command Prompt in administrative mode by searching for “cmd,” right-clicking the top result, and selecting “Run as administrator.” Click Yes if prompted to confirm 2.
  8. Stop and restart the explorer.exe process by entering taskkill /f /im explorer.exe and hitting Enter followed by start explorer.exe 2.

After following these steps, your taskbar should be moved to the top of your screen.

Alternatively, you can also use a third-party app like TaskbarX or FalconX to move your taskbar to any position on your screen 3.

I hope this helps!
